Courageous Cure is the 20th episode of the Courage the Cowardly Dog Season 4 episode series. It was released on November 8, 2002.
Plot
Determined to save their race from a disease that's causing them to beat themselves up uncontrollably, two alien naturalists, Captain Lazzo and Jay, abduct Courage, Muriel, and Eustace in the middle of the night. The next morning,when Courage, Muriel, and Eustace wake up and find themselves in a spaceship, the alien naturalists explain to them that they need Courage, Muriel, and Eustace in order to get the antibodies that will neutralize the disease thus producing immunity against the disease from Eustace and Muriel since they only need help from "those who walk upright like us." The suction tubes then attach themselves to Eustace and Muriel's heads and they begin to hybridize Eustace and Muriel. The disease then kicks in and Eustace and Muriel begin to beat themselves up, and the suction tubes accidentally release themselves and spread the disease juice over Captain Lazzo and Frank and, they too, begin to beat themselves up. Eustace grabs some of the arms and one arm pushes a nearby button and Eustace falls out of the spaceship. After an alien cat gets Courage out of the plastic wrap that straps Courage to the chair, Courage tries to help, but accidentally drinks the disease. However, Captain Lazzo and Frank find out that courage is immune, and Frank tries to hybridize Courage, but to no avail. Courage hybridizes himself and begins to mutate from a corn cob to a watermelon and manages to get a pipe through himself and the disease turns into the antidote and Muriel and Captain Lazzo and Frank are cured. Captain Lazzo and Frank get the cure from Courage and they return everyone to earth, except Eustace who is being fed mush by a female Space Dino.
Trivia
- Muriel mutated by having dragon tails coming out of her body, having a long spring-like neck, and two bird branches from her ears (later torn out by the disease). She also had alien arms when she shrieked in pain.
- Eustace mutated by having a bunch of alien eyes, a snake tongue, and a cow head in his body. He also had alien arms when they came out when he and the cow yelled.
