David Simons (also known as Dave Simons) (1954 - 2009) was a storyboard supervisor on Courage the Cowardly Dog. Simons had a prolific career in comic books, contributing to Marvel Comics and DC Comics. He also had a successful animation career, working on such series as The Real Ghostbusters and Captain Planet and the Planeteers as a storyboard artist. After an impressive career in both fields, Simons died on June 9, 2009 at the age of 54.
