Katz' Jam Monster is a translucent-purple living jam-creature, created by Katz in order to kidnap Muriel and bring her to his candy shop, where he could coerce her into giving up the secret ingredient of her candy apples.
It's body has an agreeable flavor and it is intelligent enough to maintain Katz's store while he is preoccupied. As a slime monster it is highly resistant to physical trauma, but it appears to be very vulnerable to being startled by sudden intimidating or shocking sights and will run away in response to one.
The creature's first and only appearance was in Katz Kandy.
